Summer sixteen is upon us y’all! Am I the only one who treats her perfume like her wardrobe? I change my perfumes up with the seasons! So warmer months down in the south bring a lot of sun, fun, and glam. But summer months also bring a change in skin and body chemistry, making your winter scents that you loved sometimes too overpowering for the summer. Which is why I’ve rounded up my top five scents that leave you smelling great as the temperature heats up. So pick your fave and start spritzing, and thank me later!

I’ve got a really strong nose, so ranking my top five scents for the summer is literally right up my alley. I guess I’ve become an amateur perfume aficionado of some sorts. I’ve smelled and loved them all! So it just made sense to rank them and maybe help some of you out. Now if you are on the fence about a perfume hopefully this will give you some insight.

So you might be shopping for yourself, or for someone special, these perfumes are sure to do the trick. These might not be the most expensive scents on the market, but I guarantee it will make you feel and smell like you’re worth a billion!

1. Miss Dior Cherie

Miss Dior Cherie is one of my faves. Why? Because it’s a complex scent that’s sweet and summery but not in an overbearing manner. If you’re on the hunt for something youthful, fresh, nice and fruity, then this is perfect for you.

2. Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge

I think this is one of the bolder choices for the summer. I love this one too, in fact I liked it so much I actually gifted it to my mom for Mother’s Day. And she loved it too! This fragrance is more daring and glamorous with a sophisticated air. It’s a very strong rose smell mixed in with a fruity vibe. It’s a strong perfume, so if you really want to be remembered by a bold summer choice, than this is the route to go for sure.

3. Daisy by Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh

If you are craving a fresh and airy scent, then try this! I love all the fresh and airy scents, they smell and actually feel more natural. Not to mention you won’t be bothering your neighbors with a strong aroma around you. There is something romantic about this one, it literally smells like summer in a bottle! You will love rocking this one, and it’s perfect for this time of the year!

4. Coco Mademoiselle Chanel

Alright, one of my all time favorites is Coco Mademoiselle, I literally think this is perfect for all seasons. This is one of the best selling perfumes in the world, and I mean it’s Chanel, you could not possibly ever go wrong with this one. It smells incredible all year long, not just in the summer months, so I definitely recommend investing in this one! It’s a luxurious perfume and is a perfect addition to any dressing table. Chanel is synonymous with luxury and if you are looking for a classic perfume, you’ve got to give this one a spritz.

5. CK One Summer

I think this is one of the freshest smelling perfumes I’ve tried yet so far! This perfume is perfect for those on the search for something feminine and soft. It so perfect for summer because it’s so light you can wear it everyday! It’ such a summer scent and the bottle is so groovy! They change the look and color design of the bottle every year so be on the look out for a different bottle but the same quality scent! o.37351
